Though many of us refuse to admit it, fall is just around the corner. I see pumpkin bread baking, apple picking, leather weather and boyfriend sweaters in my not-so-distant future. I will never be one of those people that mourns the loss of summer, because fall has been my favorite long before it became trendy. As a kid I hated going back to school, but I loved going back to school shopping, and so fall, and all that comes with it, was something I always embraced. In college I began to look forward to the start of classes, and come August, I would begin to crave my chilly morning walks from the train to FIT, rocking new leather boots and a skinny vanilla latte in hand. Thinking about it now I’m a bit nostalgic, as it’s been 3 years since I’ve done that morning city walk to class. Despite the fact that I’m long past attending school, I still find the need to go ‘back to school’ shopping. This probably stems from the fact that fall fashion is, in my opinion, 10 times better than spring/summer. I’ll take a skinny jean and a riding boot over short shorts any day. This fall, I am completely enamored by the entire Joie collection, and I’m so excited to share with you some of my favorite pieces.
Joie is one of those brands that I consistently crush on. No matter what store I walk into, if they carry Joie, I can, and will, always find a piece that I have to leave with. My very favorite pants are by Joie, and I became so obsessed with them that I just HAD to have them in 3 colors. That being said, I’m not at all surprised that I am lusting for so many pieces from Joie’s fall 2015 collection. The collection is totally boho chic with a bit of an equestrian feel, and is slightly less conservative, and dare I say basic, than previous collections. Below I’m sharing standout pieces from the Joie fall 2015 collection you need this fall.
